Radisys Congratulates Engage Digital Platform Winners in the 2023 TADHack Open Hackathon

Real-world solutions created using Radisys’ award-winning CPaaS platform.

HILLSBORO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Radisys® Corporation, a global leader of open telecom solutions, is pleased to highlight the winners of the 2023 TADHack Open, a hackathon bringing together people from across the global communications industry to develop programmable communications solutions. Participants utilized Radisys’ award-winning, Engage Digital Platform (EDP) to develop apps or “hacks” that address real-world customer challenges and use cases. Radisys’ EDP enables developers to create a full range of communication services, from voice and video calling, speech analytics, video analytics and robust conversational AI-enabled digital engagement solutions using simple-to-use communications APIs, SDKs and low-code/no-code visual design tools.

The TADHack Open event, sponsored exclusively by Radisys, was held March 25-26, 2023, with participants competing in Orlando, Florida, and virtually around the world, is particularly focused on promoting women in technology, especially in the area of programmable communications. The winners are also given the opportunity to demonstrate their solutions to industry leaders on March 28, during Enterprise Connect 2023. Radisys selected three winners for the best hacks from among the TADHack Open submissions.

EDP TADHack Open Winners

  • First Place – Guardian Care, a personal health care application using VDT-IVR and IoT instrument integration. Creators: Vikki Horne, Muntaser Syed, and Candy Torres
  • Second Place – OneCenter, real-time banking services and call center integration using IVR, CRM, click-to-call, and mobile apps. Creators: Shuaibu Onivehu Ziyad, Aliyu Ibrahim, and Nasiru Mustapha
  • Third Place – FitBot, a real-time fitness tracker using a web client and real-time IVR dialog. Creator: Mike Cairns
