KloudGin Announces Appointment Of Utility Industry Veteran To Board Of Directors

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KloudGin, Inc., the leading provider of cloud-based field service, work and asset management solutions, today announced the appointment of David Stanton to the KloudGin Board of Directors.

Mr. Stanton is the CEO at UGSI Solutions, a provider of infrastructure technologies to the water, wastewater and energy industries. He was formerly CEO of Suez Utility Holdings, Inc., the largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility. During his time at Suez, Mr. Stanton led a transformation of the utility deploying the best available digital solutions including KloudGin. Mr. Stanton also served as Chairman of the National Association of Water Companies from 2019-2020. Mr. Stanton is on the advisory board of Burnt Island Ventures, a seed capital venture fund for the water industry, and on the board of Harvest Returns, an alternative financing platform for modern farming investments.

“The energy and water sector is undergoing major transformation globally and needs specialized best-in-class applications designed for the needs of the new distributed infrastructure,” Stanton said. “KloudGin’s mission resonates with me on a deeply personal level. Critical asset & field service management remains one of the most impactful areas to drive down excess cost, improve service levels, boost worker productivity and safety, and increase customer satisfaction.”

“Most legacy software vendors have not innovated their products in years and don't prioritize field team usability or customer support,” continued Stanton. “Implementing these programs takes millions of dollars and often results in impacting productivity negatively rather than improving it as intended. This snowballs into a poor customer experience and increased cost of service. I saw firsthand that using technology like KloudGin puts power into the hands of field workers who are getting mission critical work done every day. The increasing demands for efficiency for our ratepayers require that all work needs to be optimized in one platform. KloudGin empowers distributed teams with complete visibility to plan, coordinate, and manage effectively and efficiently and can be implemented quickly and at a fraction of the cost.”

"We are pleased to welcome David Stanton to the KloudGin Board," said Vikram Takru, KloudGin Co-founder & CEO. “David’s understanding and experience in driving productivity, worker and customer experience through technology, particularly in energy, will be invaluable as we continue to build our best-in-class solutions and pursue our mission of connecting customers, employees and assets anywhere, anytime."
