Women in Trucking recognizes RXO customer accounts leader for her career achievements and support of diversity initiatives

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Antonia Popova, director of customer accounts at RXO (NYSE: RXO), was named to Women in Trucking’s 2023 Top Women to Watch in Transportation list. The annual list celebrates female industry leaders for their career achievements and efforts to advance gender diversity in transportation.

Popova, who emigrated from Bulgaria to the U.S., started her career at RXO in an entry-level call center position and rose to her current role in less than a decade. Popova manages more than 500 team members that focus on improving service quality and customer engagement within RXO’s last-mile delivery business.

“Antonia is a dedicated, passionate team member and has built a diverse team with a guiding principle of empowering everyone around her,” said Heidi Ratti, chief human resources officer at RXO. “We are thrilled she is being recognized for the significant contributions she makes to our customers and RXO.”

In addition to her desire to promote diverse perspectives and create an inclusive environment, Popova serves as a mentor to many women across the organization. She is an active member of the RXO employee engagement committee and the recipient of the Supply and Demand Chain Executive’s 2022 Women in Supply Chain Award.

“We were thoroughly impressed this year with the sheer number of nominations we received for highly qualified and outstanding women who have excelled in a male-populated industry,” said Brian Everett, group editorial director and publisher of Redefining the Road magazine. “We are pleased to take this opportunity to highlight the achievements of Antonia Popova as part of this recognition program.”
