Aviation Capital Group Announces Officer Promotions

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aviation Capital Group LLC (“ACG”) announced today the following officer promotions in recognition of their outstanding commitment and contribution to ACG, effective April 1, 2023.

Carter White to Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer

Carter joined ACG in 2016 as Head of Aircraft Trading and was instrumental in building our Trading capability, which is now core to our commercial strategy. In 2021, Carter was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer and assumed additional responsibilities overseeing the Marketing and AFS functions. As Chief Revenue Officer, Carter has helped design and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for ACG, driven by an integration of our Marketing, Trading and Aircraft Financing Solutions capabilities. This promotion to Executive Vice President reflects the critical role Carter will play in driving ACG's next phase of growth and profitability.

Marwan Amr to Senior Vice President, Counsel & Assistant Secretary

Marwan joined ACG in 2017 and serves as the managerial lead for leasing and trading transactions within ACG Legal. Marwan is a key advisor to the senior management team on both operational and strategic matters and has been instrumental in guiding ACG through various restructurings, deferrals and bankruptcies during the course of the pandemic.

Mark Lang to Senior Vice President, FP&A and Pricing

Mark joined ACG in 2016 as Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role Mark worked closely with corporate and commercial functions to develop ACG’s long-term financial plans, provide earnings guidance to ACG and support M&A activities. Mark played a pivotal role in Tokyo Century’s acquisition of ACG in 2019, both in terms of financial planning and as the interim IT lead for ACG. In 2020, Mark added the Pricing and Analytics team to his responsibilities. Under Mark’s direction, the analytics team has continued to evolve and add capabilities to support the commercial teams, ACG management, and Tokyo Century.

Cory Brewer to Assistant Vice President, Aircraft Trading

Cory joined ACG in September 2018, as Senior Financial Analyst, within the Pricing and Analytics team. In 2021, Cory transferred to the commercial side of the business and was promoted to Director, Aircraft Trading. As he continues his progression, Cory is now focusing predominately on mid-life asset sales, in facilitation of ACG’s portfolio management strategy.

Steven Nishikawa to Assistant Vice President, Accounting & Reporting

Steven joined ACG in November 2020 as a Director of Accounting & Reporting. In this role he led the day-to-day management of the accounting function and supported the reporting function. With this promotion, Steven will be responsible for direct oversight of all financial reporting and accounting matters, including quarterly audits and reviews, quarterly accounting close, assisting with the preparation of offering memorandums and working directly with other departments on operational transactions.

Helen Zhu to Assistant Vice President, Attorney

Helen joined ACG in 2018 and manages a wide variety of leasing and trading transactions for ACG. In her expanded role, and in addition to continuing her responsibilities for leasing and trading matters, Helen will serve as the primary legal advisor to the New Aircraft Management team group and the functional lead within ACG Legal for the negotiation and management of OEM-related transactions.
