Equilar Appoints Cloud Partnership Veteran Peter MacDonald to Board of Directors

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Equilar, the leading provider of corporate leadership data solutions, today announced the appointment of Peter MacDonald, a highly seasoned tech executive, to the Equilar board of directors. He brings a wealth of experience managing cloud partnerships and overseeing business development efforts at top tech companies, including Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, and Microsoft.

In 2020, Equilar launched ExecAtlas, a platform developed for organizations navigating the complexities of B2B sales to drive increased engagement with C-suite decision makers and new business opportunities. Since the launch, Equilar has also partnered with several industry leaders, including Snowflake, to provide data feeds by connecting their networks to the Equilar database of more than 400,000 public companies, two million executive profiles and 100 million person-to-person connections to boost business development efforts.

For over a decade prior, MacDonald led business development for Microsoft’s search and advertising business and worked on a number of Microsoft’s mobile initiatives.
