Safety Management Group to Present on Rescue, Emergency Action Plans at 2023 Indiana Safety & Health Conference

Silver Sponsor to Host Onsite Employment Interviews

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Safety Management Group (SMG), an industry-leading safety, environmental, and health services firm, announced that Craig Clark, CSHT, Director of Construction and Manufacturing at SMG, will present “Rescue Plans: Calling 911 Is Not a Strategy” at the Indiana Safety & Health Conference on March 1, 2023, at 9:15 a.m.

“The SMG team is looking forward to seeing safety colleagues again and taking part in productive discussions around improving workplace safety at this year’s Indiana Safety & Health Conference,” said Clark. “As most know, effective upfront planning can prevent many potential incidents, but what do you do when an event occurs? Are you ready with a rescue plan? Aaron and I will share rescue plan requirements and strategies for various rescue scenarios.”

Clark, along with co-presenter Aaron Bolinger, Assistant Chief of the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, will educate attendees on the following:

  • Understanding OSHA requirements for rescue and emergency action plans
  • Strategies for confined space entry or elevated work rescue
  • How to be prepared at a remote worksite

The SMG team of safety experts will also be on hand during the Indiana Safety & Health Expo on Tuesday, February 28 in booth #407, showcasing the company’s safety consulting, contractor safety management, and VERO contractor prequalification and data management software.

SMG is actively recruiting for numerous positions both locally and nationally. A member of SMG’s Talent Acquisition team will conduct on-site interviews at the conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28 in booth #407.
