Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation Invites Residents to Apply for 2023/2024 Academic Scholarship Support

The foundation plans to award more than $100,000 in scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year

MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation, Balfour Beatty Communities’ non-profit organization, has opened its annual academic scholarship application period with more than $100,000 in scholarships currently estimated to be available for the 2023/2024 school year. The scholarship is open to Balfour Beatty Communities-owned and managed properties residents. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, community service, involvement in extracurricular activities, and financial need.

I encourage residents who meet the eligibility criteria to apply.”

To be eligible for a Foundation scholarship, applicants must:

  • Reside at a Balfour Beatty Communities-owned and managed military, student housing, or multifamily community;
  • Hold a GPA of 3.0 or better;
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities; and
  • Plan to attend an accredited college or trade school in the 2023/2024 academic school year.

In addition to completing the online application form, applicants are required to submit an essay that allows the selection committee to learn more about them on a personal level.

Since 2009, the Foundation has awarded more than 550 scholarships and over $1.2 million to assist deserving students and future community leaders in their pursuit of a post-secondary education.
