AM Best to Highlight Value of Performance Assessments for DUAEs in Surplus Line Association of California Webinar

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best to provide an overview of the Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises (DUAE) market in a webinar for the Surplus Line Association of California on Feb. 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. (PST).

Jeff Mango, managing director of strategy and communications, and Sridhar Manyem, senior director, industry research and analytics, both of AM Best, will lead the session on the credit rating agency’s Performance Assessment process for managing general agents (MGA), managing general underwriters (MGU) and other similar organizations with the DUAE market. The one-hour discussion also will explore the growth of MGAs and MGUs, as well as program business, in the surplus line and specialty insurance industry. David Kodama, chief industry and regulatory officer, Surplus Line Association of California, will moderate the event.
