Lincoln International Announces Managing Director Promotions

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln International, a global investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of six Directors to Managing Director (MD), effective January 1, 2023.

The new MDs join more than 150 globally who provide complementary investment banking advisory services in the private capital markets. Their mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital advisory acumen bolster the firm’s senior leadership in both expertise and commitment to outstanding outcomes.

Outlined below are further details about Lincoln’s newest MDs, in alphabetical order:

Tim Blonn | Chicago

Tim advises private equity groups and private companies on acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations and restructurings with a recognized expertise in healthcare. He utilizes more than 15 years of advisory, direct lending and capital markets experience to arrange tailored financing solutions, including senior and unitranche loans, subordinated debt and structured capital. Tim joined Lincoln in 2018 as a Vice President.

Jesse Espinoza | San Francisco

Jesse provides M&A advisory services for clients in the technology, media and telecom (TMT) sector, with more than 10 years of experience advising on sell-side and buy-side transactions, cross-border advisory and strategic alternatives for privately held businesses, leading private equity firms and publicly traded companies. He has deep expertise across the TMT sector, with comprehensive knowledge of enterprise software, engineering, design and simulation software and industrial technology broadly, among other subsectors. Jesse joined Lincoln in 2018 as a Vice President.

Sherman Guillema | Dallas

Sherman provides capital advisory services for a broad range of circumstances, including acquisition financing, recapitalizations, refinancing, restructurings, liability management transactions and distressed mergers and acquisitions drawing from more than 15 years of advisory and credit investing experience. Sherman’s clients include private equity groups, publicly held companies and family-owned businesses. Sherman joined Lincoln in 2015 as a Vice President.

Sam Jackson | New York

Sam provides M&A advisory services to clients in the TMT sector, with a focus on enterprise software and financial technology. His more than 12 years of experience includes transactions involving Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies as well as advising leading private equity firms and privately held businesses on strategic alternatives. Sam joined Lincoln in 2012 as an Associate.

Neil Maini | New York

Neil leverages his direct lending experience to arrange financings for private equity sponsors, independent sponsors and private companies in a variety of transactions including acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations and refinancings. His expertise includes designing direct lending solutions to sponsors and private companies including first lien, unitranche, second lien and mezzanine financings. Neil joined Lincoln in 2020 as a Director.

James West | London

James provides M&A advisory services for clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. He has expert knowledge in outsourced pharmaceutical research, manufacturing and commercialization services, pharmaceutical products and medical technology and diagnostics. James has more than 10 years of experience working globally with private equity, public and private clients. James joined Lincoln in 2021 as a Director.
