Macquarie Capital Expands Its Infrastructure and Energy Team in Latin America, Naming Kevin Nobels Managing Director

SANTIAGO, Chile--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, capital markets and principal investing arm of Macquarie Group, today announced that it has named Kevin Nobels as a Managing Director in its Infrastructure and Energy Capital group. In his new role, Mr. Nobels will focus on driving investments in infrastructure and energy transition for Macquarie Capital across Latin America.

Mr. Nobels has extensive experience in large-scale capital projects and operational transformation in the renewable energy, infrastructure, oil, gas and basic materials sectors in the region. Prior to joining Macquarie Capital, he spent 15 years at McKinsey & Company. As a Partner based in São Paulo and Energy Practice Leader in Latin America, he focused on energy transition strategies and implementation, serving corporate clients across various sectors such as hydrogen, wind power, biofuels, energy efficiency and electrification. Mr. Nobels also established the Capital Excellence practice for the region. Before joining McKinsey & Company, he worked in the auto industry in Europe.
