Kinetic Expands Number of Markets Offering 2 Gig Fiber Internet

More Speed Means More Connected Devices Running Smoothly At Once

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Making good on the promise to bring faster speeds to more people, Kinetic announced the availability of 2 Gig fiber in 46 more residential markets.

In most of these premium markets, Kinetic will now boast the fastest broadband speeds available to residential customers. The company will continue to expand its multi-Gig offerings into more markets with even higher speeds in the future.

“The number of connected devices in homes continues to rise,” said Mark Lederman, vice president of product for Kinetic. “That means families need more bandwidth to keep these devices running smoothly. 2 Gig speed gives customers a first-class experience both now and into the future.”

The new 2 Gig Kinetic Fiber internet can provide up to 2,000 Mbps of speed—twice as fast as 1 Gig service. This speed, delivered via a 100% fiber optic connection, provides reliability and performance for support of more connected devices and users.

Expanding 2 Gig service comes as part of Kinetic’s multi-year $2 billion capital investment to deploy fiber across its 18-state footprint. Additionally, the company is creating unique partnerships with cities, counties and other groups to drive fiber deeper into the network faster.
