Media Advisory: Cadence Bank and FHLB Dallas to Award $16K to Habitat for Humanity

LUFKIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cadence Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $16,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funding to Habitat for Humanity of Angelina County (Habitat) on Thursday, November 3 during a ceremonial check presentation. Media is encouraged to attend.

The grant proceeds will be used to offset the cost of financial education classes that are required for each new homeowner. It will also help offset the cost of other classes for Habitat families, including home maintenance, budgeting and healthy meal preparation.

FHLB Dallas matches member institution contributions of $500 to $4,000 by a 3:1 ratio.
