SRM (Strategic Resource Management) Welcomes Payments Industry Veteran Lee Manfred to International Advisory Board

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SRM (Strategic Resource Management), an independent advisory firm serving financial institutions and other industries across North America and Europe, today announces that another industry leader and innovator – Lee Manfred – has joined its International Advisory Board.

Manfred is well known in the payments industry and fintech space, with more than 30 years of experience. Manfred's primary role was Managing Director at First Annapolis, now part of Accenture Payments, where he managed teams of consultants in North America, Latin America, and Europe. Under Lee's guidance, the firm worked with many of the household names in the banking world, delivering subject matter expertise and critical solutions to clients across credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, and mobile payments. Manfred is now the founder and acting CEO of Julep Wellness, an early-stage venture focused on personal financial education and long-term wellness.

Adding Manfred to SRM's global board will help elevate the company's already strong knowledge of the payments space while bringing more innovation and consumer insights to SRM's growth strategy.

SRM Chief Executive Officer Brad Downs noted: "It's exciting to comment on yet another new member of our International Advisory Board. One after another, we’ve identified key contributors this year that will impact our strategic growth. Lee Manfred is an exceptional addition to the board. His experience in the payments consulting space and track record as an innovator and entrepreneur makes him a great fit for what we're building here at SRM."

SRM specializes in identifying previously undiscovered opportunities for growth or savings, aligning expenses with industry benchmarks, and fostering supplier partnerships with a focus on quality and long-term stability. And the firm's advisory services span payments, operations, technology, and the ever-evolving digital assets space.

"I'm honored to join SRM's advisory board and work closely with Brad Downs and the diverse professionals in this group," said Manfred. "SRM's plans for growth and innovation are evident in the company's recent moves. I look forward to sharing my expertise and perspectives with the team."

Manfred's appointment to SRM's International Advisory Board follows other influential signings, including Marion King, former Payments Director for NatWest Group; Hans Winterhoff, innovation consulting leader; and Michael Väth, renowned enterprise technology expert and startup advisor – the latter two both residing in Germany. Other advisory board members include Manolo Sanchez, former CEO of BBVA Compass; Steven VanBelleghem, renowned customer experience innovator; Reed Deupree, public markets and private equity investing expert; David Bailey, M & A specialist and financial services consultant; Stan Viner, longtime financial services sales professional and fintech advisor; and Robert Messer, community banking CFO.
