Clinical Expertise and Advanced Therapies Offer Patients Additional Care Resources in New Setting

NORCROSS, Ga.--()--Virtis Health, a national healthcare provider dedicated to therapeutic and diagnostic services for patients with complex conditions requiring specialty infusible and injectable medications, announced today its unveiling of an ambulatory infusion center (AIC) in the Atlanta area.

Virtis Health Atlanta is conveniently located at 1600 Oakbrook Drive, Suite 560B, Norcross, Ga., 30093, Phone: 678.325.1065. Virtis Health is a division of Soleo Health, a national provider of complex specialty pharmacy services administered in the home or at alternate sites of care. Together, the combined service offering of Virtis Health and Soleo Health provides patients with flexible site of care options to meet their individual therapy needs and service expectations in a cost-effective setting.

Virtis Health Atlanta offers therapy management services and treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders, including chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. The AIC also provides treatments for and manages patients with various inflammatory conditions, such as thyroid eye disease, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, as well as primary immunodeficiencies and rare and ultra-rare diseases.

Virtis Health Atlanta is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., with evenings and weekend appointments available upon request, and accepts a broad range of health insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.

Patients served by Virtis Health Atlanta span those residing throughout the Atlanta area, including those in Norcross, Dunwoody, John’s Creek, Alpharetta, Duluth, Lawrenceville and Cumming as well as surrounding communities.

Concurrent with the opening, Turquoise Holmes, FNP, was appointed nurse practitioner at Virtis Health Atlanta, supervising the overall clinical practice. Holmes is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and former ICU nurse. In her new role, Holmes will manage all patients’ needs and assess, diagnose and treat both general and chronic illnesses. In addition, clinical pharmacists are also available at Virtis Health Atlanta as needed.
