Brighton Park Capital Named to Inc.’s 2022 List of Founder-Friendly Investors

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brighton Park Capital (“Brighton Park”), a growth equity investment firm that specializes in partnering with growth-stage software, healthcare and tech-enabled services businesses, today announced that it has been named to Inc.’s 2022 Founder-Friendly Investor list, honoring private equity and venture capital firms that have helped founder-led businesses succeed. The final list recognizes investment firms that entrepreneurs can trust and collaborate with while receiving the financial support they need to help accelerate growth.

Brighton Park partners with management teams to provide purpose-built, value-add capabilities that match the unique requirements of its portfolio companies. The firm works closely with founders and CEOs to attract world class talent, develop market-leading products, build highly productive sales organizations and connect better with customers through its extensive set of C-level relationships with large enterprises.

“Brighton Park was founded on the philosophy that close collaboration with founders and management teams positions innovative companies for long-term success,” said Mark Dzialga, Managing Partner of Brighton Park. “We are honored that Inc. recognized our firm’s unwavering commitment to this approach, and we look forward to continuing to partner with entrepreneurs as they look to bring their business to the next level of growth.”

Over the past four years, Brighton Park has made investments in numerous founder-led companies including HTEC, Indegene, AppViewX, Paradox, OPSWAT, Reltio, TheMathCompany and RocketReach. For 16 of the 17 companies in Brighton Park’s current portfolio, the founders are still directly involved in the day-to-day business – reinforcing the importance the firm places on maintaining founder relationships.

“Fully investing in an entrepreneur, and their innovative vision, involves far more than the financial investment. By developing relationships with and supporting entrepreneurs for the long-term, these private equity firms are more than investors, they’re partners,” said Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. media.

To compile the list, Inc. went straight to the source: entrepreneurs who have sold to private equity and venture capital firms. Founders completed a questionnaire about their experiences partnering with private equity and venture capital firms and shared data on how their portfolio companies have grown during these partnerships.
