AM Best to Deliver Presentation on Its Ratings Process in Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals Webinar

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will deliver a one-hour presentation on its rating process in a webinar hosted by the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP), on Oct. 13, 2022, at 2 p.m. (EDT).

Kevin Varvaro, financial analyst, AM Best, will lead the webinar, which includes a high-level discussion on how AM Best interacts with insurance carriers, how ratings are developed and how its ratings impact the insurance industry. In addition, Scott Jordan, manager, business operations, will discuss how AM Best interacts with and provides rating information to regulators. The webinar is titled “AM Best Ratings 101 – How Insurance Carrier Ratings are Developed and the Impact to the Industry.” Varvaro has been with AM Best since 2016 and covers the North American and Caribbean life/annuity insurance industry. Jordan joined AM Best in 2007 and is responsible for Best’s Regulatory Centers, Best’s State Rate Filings, Best’s Insurance Professional Resources and Best’s Consumer Center.
