L5 Ranch, 2,427-acres with excellent tillable land and pastures, to be offered in October 13 auction

HAMMON, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The L5 Ranch, a 2,427-acre property featuring cultivated Class I soils and well managed pastures with perimeter and cross fencing, will be offered at auction Thursday, Oct. 13, with Schrader Real Estate Auction Company conducting the event.

The property includes numerous ponds, water wells, stock tanks, shop, pipe working pens and a home. It will sell in 14 tracts ranging from 3 acres to 363 acres. Tracts include 1,149 tillable acres per FSA, as well as numerous native and improved grass pastures.

“It’s hard to overstate the care that has gone into this ranch over the years. The pastures are in excellent shape, as are the pipe working pens, the three-bedroom home and other improvements throughout the property,” said Brent Wellings, auction manager.

Schrader President R.D. Schrader noted that the farm includes a North Unit of 1,547 acres and a South Unit of 880 acres. “The North Unit has extensive frontage on Highway 34, as well as the house and farm shop. The South Unit has a mix of improved and native pastures, as well as a brushy draw that attracts wildlife,” he said.

Bidders may make bids on any combination of tracts, from a single tract up to the entire property.

Wellings will be available at the ranch from 3 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12 to provide detailed information and accommodate inspections. He can be reached at 405-332-5505.

Online bidding will be available by prior arrangement. Individuals seeking additional information may visit www.schraderauction.com or call 800-451-2709.
