KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to PRPM 2022-NQM1 Trust

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to six classes of mortgage pass-through certificates from PRPM 2022-NQM1 Trust, a $319.4 million non-prime transaction (comprising 668 residential mortgages) collateralized predominantly by investment property loans which were underwritten using primarily debt service coverage ratios (DSCRs; 67.4%). The underlying collateral also contains owner-occupied and second home loans underwritten using alternative (17.9%) and full documentation (14.7%), with a non-zero WA original credit score of 745. The loans exhibit modest equity in each mortgaged property with combined LTV (CLTV) ratio of 70.3%.

KBRA’s rating approach incorporated loan-level analysis of the mortgage pool through its KBRA RMBS Credit Model, an examination of the results from third-party loan file due diligence, cash flow modeling analysis of the transaction’s payment structure, reviews of key transaction parties and an assessment of the transaction’s legal structure and documentation. This analysis is further described in our U.S. RMBS Rating Methodology.
