Veterans Evaluations Services, a Maximus Company, Expands Mobile Clinic Services for Veterans

Mobile Clinic To Be in Denver Sept. 8 To Administer Medical Disability Exams For Homeless Veterans

TYSONS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maximus, a leading employer and provider of government services worldwide, today announced its subsidiary Veterans Evaluations Services (VES) is expanding its mobile clinic services for veterans. With three mobile units being added to the fleet, the company adds more flexibility and options for conducting Medical Disability Examinations (MDEs) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Each VES mobile unit is outfitted with the equipment required to perform audio, dental, ophthalmological, and general medical examinations in a private, comfortable space. These VES mobile units facilitate mobile examinations where needed throughout the United States, including remote areas and areas with limited medical infrastructure.

The VES mobile clinic and team will participate in a Homeless Veterans Claims Clinic in Denver, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 8. Exams will be conducted for participating Denver-area homeless veterans, and the Denver VA Regional Office (VARO) and Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) will have staff on hand to initiate claims.

“Our mission at VES, from the start, has been to honor those who bravely served our country by providing quality and timely evaluations performed by trained professionals in a respectful and hospitable environment,” said Greg Durio, President, VES. “The expansion of our mobile clinic offerings represents another step forward in accomplishing that mission.”

“With the acquisition of VES in 2021, Maximus bolstered its position as the leading provider of health and disability assessments and appeals on behalf of government,” said Teresa Weipert, General Manager, Federal Services. “The incredible work being done by our VES team has provided immense value to our veterans, who we are honored to support and assist through their VA claims experience. This expansion of our mobile clinic program is another critical step forward in delivering services to veterans.”
