Carolyn Ingram Appointed Plan President of Molina Healthcare of New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Molina Healthcare (“Molina”) today announced the appointment of Carolyn Ingram as plan president of Molina Healthcare of New Mexico.

A native and lifetime resident of New Mexico, Ingram served as the state’s Medicaid director from 2003 to 2011, where she drove the development and implementation of New Mexico’s first managed long-term services and supports program as well as expanded programs to cover uninsured adults. Ingram also previously served as SCHIP director and chair of the New Mexico Medical Insurance Pool.

“Carolyn has a deep understanding of New Mexico’s needs and a proven history of successfully serving New Mexicans,” said Marc Russo, EVP of health plans for Molina Healthcare. “By committing an enterprise executive of Carolyn’s stature and experience to this leadership role, Molina is demonstrating emphatically that it is all in for New Mexico.”

Ingram joined Molina Healthcare in 2015 and has served in numerous national leadership positions, including executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Molina Healthcare and executive director of the MolinaCares Accord, which drives Molina’s nationwide program to reduce racial disparities in health care.

Ingram will work closely with David Nater as he assumes the role of chief operating officer for New Mexico.

Ingram holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA from New Mexico State University.
