PEMCO Mutual Insurance Welcomes New Chief of Staff

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PEMCO Mutual Insurance recently welcomed Vendula Linhart as the Seattle-based insurer’s newly appointed executive Chief of Staff. Linhart will work in partnership with PEMCO executives and leaders as a trusted advisor, facilitator, and driver of strategic projects, initiatives and processes.

Linhart brings nearly a decade of business operations experience, with demonstrated expertise in enhancing growth and agility, guiding cultural vitality, and working on the frontlines of state-wide political campaigns to turn bold grassroots strategies into high-impact results.

In her new role at PEMCO, Linhart will drive the company’s Rhythm of the Business, facilitate annual strategic planning and communications, and support strategic projects such as the company’s culture transformation initiative.

“Vendula has an extraordinary background that spans sectors and industries. She has worked with leaders of state and leaders of start-ups, organizing and driving communication and collaboration to deliver unprecedented results,” said Cynthia La Rowe, Vice President and Chief People & Brand Officer at PEMCO. “Her depth of expertise and passion for service underpin her work as PEMCO’s first ever Chief of Staff. We are fortunate to work with Vendula and look forward to all she contributes and the positive lasting impact she will make on the company and our member-owners.”

Most recently, Linhart served as the chief of staff at Trussworks, Inc., a consulting firm that partners with corporations to create tailored software solutions. In this role, Linhart was responsible for the strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations of the CEO’s office by bringing people together and keeping the team connected.

Previously, she held progressive leadership roles in business management, operations and external relations with Acronis, Inc., a global leader in the cyber protection space. There, she was effective in enhancing revenue growth, reducing personnel churn and fostering a revitalized talent organization with advanced capabilities in areas like cross-selling.

Originally from the Czech Republic, Linhart emigrated to the United States to pursue her education. She graduated magna cum laude from the College of Charleston, South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in anthropology, and soon after obtained U.S. citizenship. Previously, she held leadership roles in U.S. presidential campaigns, the American Federation of Teachers and in the tech industry. Outside of work, Linhart enjoys skydiving, traveling, reading and meeting people across the globe.
