Brown Brothers Harriman Announces Strategic Hire in Philadelphia to Fuel Growth Across the Region

Matt Levering joins BBH Private Banking Corporate Advisory & Banking team to focus on growing firm’s network of private business owners.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH), is pleased to announce that Matt Levering has joined the firm’s Private Banking business as Senior Vice President in the Philadelphia office. Matt joins the Corporate Advisory & Banking team providing corporate finance advice and capital to privately held businesses across the mid-Atlantic region. In his new role, Matt will focus on expanding BBH’s network of private business owners as well as BBH’s portfolio of loans. Matt joins BBH from PNC Capital Markets, where he was a Managing Director, and most recently, oversaw the pro rata syndicate desk for PNC’s eastern footprint, which spans Maine to Florida.

Matt has over 15 years of experience in capital markets, including extensive transaction origination, structuring, execution and distribution experience. Throughout his career he has built long-term client relationships and helped them find creative solutions to achieve their goals. Matt is a board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Risk Management Association and a graduate of Villanova University.
