PLTW Elects Amy Ross to Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Project Lead The Way (PLTW) announced today that it has elected Amy L. Ross to the Board of Directors of the nation’s leading provider of transformative learning experiences for PreK-12 students across the U.S. Ross’ position as an Independent Director to the board is effective immediately.

“Amy brings significant business and leadership experience to our board, and she has expert knowledge around talent recruitment and development,” stated PLTW Interim President and CEO Dr. David Dimmett. “We are excited to have her join the PLTW Board of Directors and our team in supporting the incredible and important work we do with students and teachers across the U.S.”

Ross is the CEO and Founder of HumanKind HR located in Dallas, Texas. The female-owned company provides executive recruiting, people strategies, and tools for businesses to create high-performing, innovative, and sustainable cultures. Ross has over 20 years of experience in executive recruiting, human resources, and legal fields. She has an extensive background in building programs that align an organization’s business strategy with its people strategy. She also has a deep understanding of leadership development and designing company cultures based on purpose.

Ross received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam. She holds both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP HR certifications and is a Founding Board Member and former Advisory Council Member of Conscious Capitalism Dallas.
