Corvias Names Thelma Edgell SVP of Corvias Property Management for Higher Education

Edgell to help lead third largest on-campus housing provider portfolio that serves 15 schools and nearly 20,000 students

EAST GREENWICH, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corvias, a long-term solutions and management partner to the U.S. military and municipalities, and a leading provider of housing solutions to colleges and universities, announced the hire of Thelma Edgell as the senior vice president of property management for the company’s higher education portfolio.

Edgell will be responsible for ensuring operational, financial and programmatic outcomes for the portfolio that also delivers value to students and partners. This leadership role is part of Corvias’ continued intention to elevate and invest in its higher education segment. Edgell joins Corvias with over 20 years of experience in property management and operations throughout the United States where she oversaw 25 property assets, both on and off campus, and outperformed all financial goals.

Thelma identifies with Corvias’ core principles with an emphasis on people and partner relationships. “This is a tremendous opportunity to share and utilize my skills and experience,” she said. “I am looking forward to meeting the teams and adding my contributions to the successful operating platform for the Higher Education segment.”
