Hoffmann Green announces that its third production site (H3) will be located in the Port of Dunkirk

CHAILLÉ-SOUS-LES-ORMEAUX, France--()--Regulatory News:

Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies (ISIN: FR0013451044, Ticker: ALHGR) (“Hoffmann Green Cement” or the “Company”), an industrial player committed to decarbonizing the construction sector that designs and distributes innovative clinker-free cement, announces that its third production site (H3) will be built in the port of Dunkirk; this is a major step in the execution of its industrial development plan.

Hoffmann Green has achieved a key milestone its development by signing a 40-year AOT (Autorisation d'Occupation Temporaire, or Temporary Occupation Permit) in Dunkirk Major Sea Port (Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque – GPMD) in order to build the Company’s third production site (H3) on a 5-hectare (12-acre) plot of land. To date, this agreement is in the form of a reservation protocol, Hoffmann Green will thus take possession of the land when the current occupant has finalized its operations to evacuate the site.

The location of the new site is perfectly in line with the Company’s strategic plan, as it lies next to rail and river links and will provide additional sea access connecting it to the storage silos in the port of La Rochelle. It is also consistent with GPMD’s strategy of developing industry to generate new maritime traffic in its port terminals.

Built entirely with Hoffmann clinker-free decarbonized cement, H3 will be a carbon copy of the H2 site in the Vendée, western France and will thus have a production capacity of 250,000 metric tons a year. This new production facility will be able to target the French market’s Hauts-de-France and Ile-de-France regions, as well as the Benelux market. Construction of this H3 plant should begin in the first half of 2023, with delivery slated for the end of 2024.

Julien BLANCHARD and David Hoffmann, co-founders of Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, said:The signing of this agreement with a view to building our H3 site is a decisive step that will enable us to increase our production capabilities and our commercial footprint. Ideally located and with excellent transport links, this new production plant will facilitate our access to new strategic parts of France in order to expand as much as possible the commercialization of our clinker-free cement and thus accelerate the decarbonization of the construction sector. We would like to thank the local authorities, and are enthusiastic about launching the construction of this new site.

Maurice GEORGES, Chairman of Dunkirk Port, added: We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome Hoffmann Green, a player of the energy transition that is making a substantial contribution to reducing the building sector’s greenhouse gas emissions. This new site illustrates our commitment both to innovation and with regard to societal and environmental issues. We are eager to work with Hoffmann Green on the next stages of the installation of its new facility.
