Global Atlantic’s Paula Nelson Named Industry Champion of Retirement Security by Insured Retirement Institute

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Atlantic Financial Group (“Global Atlantic”), a leading U.S.-focused annuity and life insurance company, today announced that Paula Nelson, Managing Director & Head of Growth Strategy, was recognized by the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) as the recipient of their 2022 Industry Champion of Retirement Security award.

The award honors individuals who work to enhance retirement security in the United States through advocacy, communication, education and other initiatives that help Americans plan for and protect their income in retirement.

She later served as Co-President of Individual Markets for Global Atlantic before her current role, focusing on strategic growth and new market opportunities for Global Atlantic's Individual Markets business. Ms. Nelson has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry.
