The Standard Names Amy Malagamba Assistant Vice President of Marketing

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Amy Malagamba has been named assistant vice president of Marketing.

In her new role, Malagamba will be responsible for corporate-wide marketing strategy and services including brand, sales enablement, creative services and marketing communications. Malagamba has more than 30 years of experience in corporate communications, product marketing and investor relations. She joined The Standard’s Corporate Marketing and Communications organization in 2013 and was promoted to second vice president of Corporate Communications in 2015.

Prior to joining The Standard, Malagamba held leadership roles in communications, investor relations and marketing at a variety of firms including Tektronix and Mentor Graphics.

“Amy’s deep experience and leadership acumen, combined with her knowledge of our business strategies and distribution networks, will ensure our marketing organization continues its momentum as a data-driven, customer-centric organization that drives sales growth,” said Justin Delaney, vice president of External Affairs at The Standard.

Malagamba earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech and communications from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
