Global Country Music Superstar Brad Paisley to Perform at SHRM Annual Conference & Expo

ALEXANDRIA, Va--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHRM (the Society for Human Resource Management) announced today that global country music superstar Brad Paisley will perform on Tuesday, June 14, at the SHRM Annual Conference & Expo 2022 (SHRM22), which will be held in New Orleans at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from June 12-15.

Live on the SHRM22 Main Stage, Paisley will showcase the songs that led to three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards and 15 Academy of Country Music Awards among others over his 20-year musical career.

“We’re excited to welcome country musician Brad Paisley to the SHRM22 stage,” said Jamie Bosley, SHRM’s Vice President of Event Strategy & Experience. “After several jam-packed days of learning from the leading minds in HR and business, this is the perfect way to celebrate new and existing connections and wrap up the final evening of the conference.”

Paisley has earned his place in country music history as one of the genre’s most talented and decorated male solo artists. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001, Paisley has written 21 of his 25 No. 1 hits, and in 2008 became the first artist to achieve 10 consecutive Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 singles. Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, are co-founders of nonprofit organization The Store, a free-referral based grocery store, which aims to empower low-income individuals and families in the Nashville area.

Paisley joins a conference lineup that includes over 200 speakers. Both in-person and virtual attendance will be available. HR professionals, CHROs, people managers and students will have the opportunity to engage on best workplace practices, discuss new data from SHRM, learn about the latest trends and benchmarking, and explore how to build a better workplace culture.

The theme of SHRM22 is Cause the Effect, encouraging business and HR leaders to boldly bring about the changes they want to see in the world of work. More speakers will be announced in the coming months. To learn more, please visit annual.shrm.org.
