Travelers Institute to Host Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel for a Discussion of Geopolitical Risks

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), will host a webinar on Wednesday, March 16, titled “Global Hot Spots and Geopolitical Risks with Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.” The event will explore how diplomatic and security challenges can potentially impact the business community.

“Secretary Hagel is a leading voice in international relations and has shaped foreign policy and geopolitical discourse throughout his career – from his two terms as a Republican U.S. senator to his tenure as secretary of defense under President Barack Obama,” said Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers. “We are pleased to have him share his expertise on how the global issues we face may affect businesses of all sizes.”
