The Standard Promotes Doug Stearns to Second Vice President of Application and Solution Delivery Strategic Partner Management

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Doug Stearns has been promoted to second vice president of Application and Solution Delivery Strategic Partner Management.

In his new role in the IT organization, Stearns will lead management of The Standard’s strategic information technology partners who provide application life-cycle management of business-critical systems and deliver solutions for portfolio initiatives.

Stearns joined The Standard in 1993 and has held various leadership roles with responsibility for IT infrastructure, solutions and engineering as well as operations. Most recently, he was senior director of IT Application Solutions Delivery.

Stearns earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.
