LiveAction Achieves Record Network Performance Management Sales Growth and Momentum in 2021

63% sales growth, the acquisition of CounterFlow AI, and strong partner growth underpin banner year for NPM leader

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveAction, a leader in end-to-end visibility for network security and performance, today recapped a banner year that included over 60% increase in year-over-year sales, over 40% increase in year-over-year annual recurring revenue (ARR), significant expansion of existing accounts, the acquisition of CounterFlow AI, and increased market penetration including 100% growth in partner-led sales.

“As networks continue to get more complex and the needs of the remote workforce change, NetOps and SecOps teams are struggling to keep pace. Our solutions give these organizations the visibility they need to ensure those transitions happen successfully and that they can deliver the high-performance networks and applications needed for business,” said Stephen Stuut, CEO at LiveAction. “As a result, our teams achieved record performance in 2021 as we invested in key areas to better support customers and we continue to innovate with new functionality that gives IT the ability to plan, monitor and troubleshoot network performance. As we move into 2022, we’re excited to capitalize on the acquisition of CounterFlow AI and extend that visibility even further into encrypted traffic with new threat detection and analysis capabilities in our recently launched ThreatEye NV solution.”

LiveAction was also able to continue to expand market penetration with a focus on subscription-based software sales and investments in customer success. These factors and others contributed to LiveAction’s outstanding performance in 2021. Key metrics included:

  • More than 80% growth in sales from new customers in 2021.
  • Increasing net new ARR by more than 350%, driven by key initiatives including a shift to a subscription-based software sales model and a focus on customer success.
  • Acquiring a leading network detection and response (NDR) provider, CounterFlow AI. This acquisition gives LiveAction’s current and future end customers and channel partners a unified network performance monitoring and diagnostics (NPMD) platform that incorporates encrypted traffic analysis for security incident detection and response. • Continued investment in the company’s channel partner strategy, which drove 100% growth in partner-led sales, and added new Fed/SLED channels with specialized distribution partners.
