Wedbush Securities Welcomes Rodrigo Parrode as Its Executive Vice President, Head of Technology & Operations and Wedbush Financial Services’ Global CIO & CTO

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wedbush Securities, one of the nation’s leading independent financial services providers, is pleased to welcome Rodrigo Parrode as its Executive Vice President, Head of Technology & Operations and Wedbush Financial Services’ Global CIO & CTO. In his multi-hyphenate role, Rodrigo is responsible for the maintenance and continuous development of all technology efforts inside and outside of the firm. He will also ensure the platform side of the business execution is performed properly and in synch for optimal support. Rodrigo is based out of the firm’s New York office and reports to President, Gary Wedbush.

Rodrigo brings over 20 years of global experience to the firm with a specialization in IT, banking, and operations spaces. Most recently he served as Managing Director, Technology Executive Wealth Management & Consumer at Bank of America. His career also includes JPMorgan Chase & Co as its Executive Director, Global Wealth Management, time spent at Deutche Bank and DklB based in London, Frankfurt and the U.S., and as Managing Director for Latam Wealth Management and Investment Management. Throughout these roles Rodrigo played a pivotal part in providing oversight and support for many platforms in investment banking and markets as well as the creation of a variety of global platforms and portals.

Rodrigo is a graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London where he received a BSc in Computer Science, the University College London (UCL) where he received an MSc in Data Communications, Networks and Distributed Systems, and FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração where he received a Master’s of Business Administration in Accounting Finance.
