Fuku Makes Its Lexington, KY Debut with Franklin Junction

The fried chicken joint will be available for delivery beginning Wednesday, January 26

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fuku, New York’s favorite fast casual fried chicken joint, is making its Lexington, KY debut on Wednesday, January 26!

Fuku’s menu of spicy fried chicken sandos, fingers, and waffle fries will be available for delivery in the University of Kentucky and greater Lexington areas beginning at 10 a.m. through a partnership with Franklin Junction, the digital restaurant growth network that unlocks access for brands to untapped customer demand. Consumers will be able to order from all major delivery platforms, including UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Postmates.

The Lexington, KY host kitchen is the first of more than 50 host kitchen locations that Fuku and Franklin Junction will open in 2022 throughout the U.S.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Fuku to Lexington and to join its vibrant culinary scene,” said Alex Munoz-Suarez, CEO of Fuku. “Being in close proximity to the University of Kentucky, we hope we’ll be the food of choice for late night study breakers and Kentucky Wildcats tailgaters.”

“We are ecstatic to help Fuku bring their iconic spicy fried chicken sandwiches to the Lexington community,” states Rishi Nigam, CEO and Co-Founder of Franklin Junction. “Our Host Kitchen® network enables us to offer craveable, high-quality brands like Fuku to people all across the country and we are excited to welcome Fuku to our platform with this initial launch in Lexington.”

Fuku started as a secret sandwich at Momofuku Noodle Bar in NYC and has since grown to serve a variety of fried chicken offerings and sides. Over the ensuing years, Fuku has opened storefronts at Hudson Yards and Rockefeller Center in NYC, as well as stadiums, arenas, and ghost kitchens throughout the country.
