Corporate Knights includes American Water on Global 100 list for sustainability leadership and transparency

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly-traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, announced today that it has been named on Corporate Knights’ 18^th annual Global 100 list of the World’s Most Sustainable Corporations for the third year in a row. American Water is the top-ranked water utility company on the list and is ranked sixth on the over-all list.
