Graham Fulcher to Join AIG as International General Insurance Chief Actuary

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American International Group (NYSE: AIG) today announced that Graham Fulcher will join the company as International General Insurance Chief Actuary, a newly created role. Based in London, Mr. Fulcher will report to Jon Hancock, Chief Executive Officer, International General Insurance and Richard Olsen, Chief Actuary, General Insurance. Mr. Fulcher will join the company during the first quarter of 2022.

Mr. Fulcher’s responsibilities will include determining appropriate pricing, reserving, and establishing risk and actuarial objectives that are aligned with AIG’s global actuarial strategies.

Mr. Fulcher joins AIG from Chubb where he served as Chief Actuary for Overseas General Insurance since 2016. Prior to Chubb, he held a number of senior management roles for Willis Towers Watson’s insurance consulting business, including as Managing Director of the U.K. and Irish property and casualty and life insurance sector practice. Earlier in his career he was Chief Actuary for ACE European Group, Chief Actuary of European operations for ACE Tempest Re, Group Actuary for Cox Insurance Plc and UK Actuary for Cologne Re.

Mr. Fulcher earned his undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Mathematics at Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
