Great American Insurance Group Announces the Retirement of Michael D. Pierce, Senior Vice President

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Great American Insurance Group announces the retirement of Michael (Mike) D. Pierce, Senior Vice President within its Property & Casualty Group, effective December 31, 2021.

Mr. Pierce has 40 years of industry experience and 35 of those years were spent at Great American. In 1986, he joined Great American’s Executive Liability Division as a Senior Underwriter and held various leadership roles within the division, ultimately serving as its President.

In 2005, Mr. Pierce was promoted to Senior Vice President of Great American Insurance Company and assumed reporting officer responsibilities. During his 16-year tenure in this role, he worked closely with numerous business divisions while working on acquisition opportunities and developing the next generation of the Company’s leaders.
