Bright MLS Introduces “Teams by Bright”

Breakthrough Innovation Aligns the MLS with the Way Real Estate Teams Do Business

ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bright MLS, which serves over 98,000 real estate professionals from Pennsylvania to Virginia, today announced the launch of Teams by Bright, an innovative leap forward which makes the Bright MLS system work more effectively for teams, and the brokers and agents who are organized around them.

Included as a subscriber benefit, Teams by Bright offers the ability to collaborate easily, build a team's brand recognition and visibility on listings, route workflows more efficiently, and easily track volume and rankings. A premium version, expected to launch early in 2022, will enable subscribers to set team goals and track productivity.

Teams by Bright makes it possible for:

  • Team leaders to build their team, promote team visibility on listings, and direct attributions and listing specific questions to the appropriate team members, all from within the Bright MLS system.
  • Team members to have access to the information they need on Bright listings and reports and receive recognition for their team activity directly within Bright MLS.

Teams have become a significant force in the real estate industry, but software and systems often fail to account for changing needs around sales and listing attribution, contact routing, and tracking. Teams by Bright addresses this challenge head-on by offering a solution within the Bright MLS system that reflects the needs of the hundreds of teams within Bright’s footprint.

“The teams business model has quickly taken hold in the industry, and brokers are leveraging this model to fuel their growth. In response to this growing trend, Bright has focused on this need, and understanding the what, the why and the how around team makeup and management,” said Brian Donnellan, Bright MLS President and CEO. “Teams and their brokers need transparency, and Bright is uniquely positioned in the transaction to provide it.”
