Yooz Inc Earns 2021 Great Place to Work Certification™

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yooz Inc is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place to Work® for the first time. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Yooz Inc. This year, 96% of employees said it’s a great place to work 37 points higher than the average U.S. company.

Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.

“Great Place to Work Certification™ isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Yooz Inc is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

Laurent Charpentier, COO at Yooz Inc: “We are extremely proud and excited to become Great Place to Work-Certified as it is a reflection of how much our company values are appreciated. Our team gathers the best minds and talents in a very inclusive and uplifting atmosphere. We have a lot of fun all working together and I want to thank them for all they do to contribute to the Yooz success and to nurture our company culture as we grow.”

Yooz Inc employee: “I am really impressed with the investment that Yooz makes into supporting and improving its employees. The leadership sets the tone for us to follow, and it is a great tone!”

“Out of all the employers that I’ve ever worked for, Yooz has offered the best working environment and overall work experience. Thank you for providing such an outstanding company and work culture.”

Within the last twelve months, Yooz understood the importance of keeping its staff safe and healthy while meeting business objectives. Yooz went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt taken care of, all while maintaining the Yooz spirit. The management team implemented daily online kick-off meetings to ensure everyone was aligned and everyone’s workload was sustainable and reasonable.

To keep our employees engaged, it was important to continue offering team building activities. At the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, we organized online team events (an online escape game, and an online cooking class) and we kept our bi-monthly happy hour events but had them virtually. Once our employees felt safe coming back to the office, we launched a “Bring back Yooz to Social Life” campaign to officialize our team events: monthly welcome breakfast sessions, birthday lunches, in-person happy hours, etc.

At the beginning of 2021, we launched a new recognition program composed of different incentives: Weekly Wheel Spin, Employee of the Quarter, Employee of the Year, Seniority celebration, etc.

In 2021, Yooz implemented a new 401k platform and Yooz now offers a matching retirement contribution, which has been highly appreciated by the employees.

According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
