Bank donates $48,000 to local nonprofit organizations

BOSTON--()--Santander Bank, N.A. ("Santander Bank,” “Santander” or “the Bank”) announced the opening of its new branch in King of Prussia located at 140 Allendale Road. Santander recently hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting to commemorate the new branch. As part of the celebration, Santander executives presented a $10,000 check to representatives from Habitat for Humanity to support financial education seminars, the construction of four homes and additional home repair projects.

“We’re excited to relocate our King of Prussia branch to this more convenient location where we can continue to help local residents and business owners with their banking needs,” said Angela Moultrie, Santander Region President for Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey. “Santander has been investing in its branch network, and this location features our new modern design that encourages engaging, consultative client interactions while also providing tools to facilitate self-service in a comfortable setting.”

There are several meeting spaces for clients to interact with the branch team, including a meeting “nook” where they can meet privately with bankers to discuss their financial needs. The branch also has a teller bar, help bar and free Wi-Fi for clients. In addition, there is a dedicated area where Santander will offer free seminars to clients and community members on topics such as home buying and retirement. The 24-hour ATM vestibule is available to clients after branch hours.

In addition, Santander held a family fun day with a coloring contest for kids, King of Prussia fire truck, a balloon artist, free food truck and Santander Bank giveaways. Representatives from Junior Achievement of Southeastern PA attended the event and received a $38,000 donation from Santander Bank to support financial literacy programs for students in Montgomery, Bucks and Chester counties.

Moultrie added, “Santander is committed to supporting our local communities, and Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement are great partners that share our values of improving the quality of life for the neighborhoods where we live and work.”
