Insight Synergy22 Partner Summit Gets Ambitious About Digital Transformation

Insight’s annual partner conference draws 1,100 technology experts to discuss how to help organizations capitalize on a renewed appetite for innovation

TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), the global integrator of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ that maximize the value of IT, held its annual Synergy22 partner summit virtually Monday and Tuesday, gathering 1,100 IT industry experts from about 250 software, hardware and cloud providers. This year’s “Be Ambitious” theme emphasized strategic discussions on equipping organizations with the modern solutions and services needed to fuel their aspirations of evolving business through new digital approaches.

“The last year and a half has been strongly focused on making IT systems more resilient and adaptable. But now we’re starting to see true transformation accelerate as organizations across every industry prioritize how technology will drive long-term changes to what they do,” said Insight President and CEO Ken Lamneck.

On average, IT decision makers surveyed in the Insight Intelligent Technology Report 2022 conducted by IDG Research Services said that nearly half (47%) of their new technology investments are currently devoted to initiatives to transform the business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, IT has taken on increasing responsibility in 10 areas of business for more than half of those surveyed, including analytics/business intelligence (64% reported an increased IT role), application development (61%), line of business strategy (61%), and user experience and change management (52%).

“Constraints on IT talent and the global supply chain challenges are driving more of our clients to increase investment in digital transformation,” said Joyce Mullen, Insight North America president. “We devoted this year’s Synergy to collaborating with our partners to address the increased appetite for innovation in cybersecurity, intelligent edge, data and AI, while modernizing their data infrastructures, applications and modern workplace experiences.”

Insight maintains more than 6,000 trusted partnerships with hardware, software and cloud service providers while serving as a single, end-to-end solutions integrator simplifying digital transformation.
