Sean McCarthy joins Cognito as Executive Vice President

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cognito, an international financial services communications and marketing agency, today announced the appointment of new leadership for its Corporate Communications practice in the US.

Sean McCarthy has joined Cognito as Executive Vice President with responsibility to build the agency’s corporate communications consulting business in the US. Reporting to Cognito’s US President Rowan Benecke, McCarthy will also serve on the agency’s US Management Team.

With more than 15 years of experience, he is an expert in corporate reputation management, helping public, private and government-owned organizations build trust.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for me to work with an impressive team of consultants and blue-chip clients across the financial, professional and technology services industry,” said McCarthy. “I look forward to building a world-class set of consulting services and broadening our client counsel with leading corporate communications and integrated marketing campaigns across paid, earned, social and owned channels.”
