AMN Clinicians Helped Donate $1.1 Million in 2021 through Charitable Giving Program

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AMN Healthcare donated $1.1 million to a wide variety of charitable organizations in 2021 through a program to reward AMN healthcare professionals for their outstanding service while supporting health research, community, advocacy, and other causes.

The program was part of an initiative by AMN Healthcare to show appreciation for travel and local staffing nurses and allied professionals who worked 1,000 hours or more in the first half of 2021, signing up to serve at hospitals and other healthcare facilities during the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each healthcare professional received a $1,000 personal bonus, plus AMN donated $1,000 to a charity of their choice, which included the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), International Esperanza Project, National Alliance on Mental Illness, National Breast Cancer Foundation, National League for Nursing, American Nurses Foundation, and Direct Relief.
