Celina Insurance Group Completes Rapid Implementation of Majesco’s Utilant Loss Control 360 With Self Survey

Rapid implementation modernizes business operations and significantly reduces underwriting time

MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Majesco, a global leader of cloud insurance software solutions for insurance business transformation, today announced Celina Insurance Group implemented Majesco’s Utilant Loss Control 360 with Self Survey in 10 months. Utilant was acquired by Majesco earlier this year.

Founded in 1914, Celina Insurance Group is made up of several multi-line insurance companies. It provides superior service to its agents and policyholders and offers property and casualty insurance products in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Iowa, and West Virginia. It strives to deliver premier personal, small commercial and farm insurance products that meet and exceed the expectations of insureds.

To support their growth strategy, Celina Insurance Group needed to modernize their loss control operation that used a 20-year-old legacy system, which limited their ability to provide the best risk assessment and loss control reports. Due to customer growth, the processes associated with collecting and compiling data for a report needed to be automated to increase the number of assessments and reports generated.

“Celina assessed the market for a solution and partner to support its loss control strategy,” said Larry Conner, Loss Control Manager at Celina Insurance Group. “Majesco’s Utilant Loss Control 360 with Self-Survey will enable us to collect survey data on risks digitally, rather than in person, saving time and resources. Based on the full coverage of lines of business and data points that Majesco's UtilantLossControl360 supports, our Loss Control group will be able to make smarter and more effective risk management assessments and recommendations to be used by our underwriting team.”

Celina Insurance Group is at the forefront of their insurance transformation and is committed to leveraging the latest technology to provide better services to their insureds. With Majesco’s Utilant Loss Control 360, a market-leading loss control survey management platform used globally by leading property and casualty insurance carriers and top risk engineering companies, they can keep pace with new risk demands and customer expectations while optimizing operations and profitability. Majesco’s Utilant Loss Control 360 with Self-Survey module is designed to let agents and policyholders perform surveys themselves on qualified risks, allowing data to be gathered on a greater portion of policies or where an in-person visit is not possible. The module’s simplicity allows it to be easily added into the workflow for existing lines of business without the need for costly changes or training.

“We’re thrilled by the rapid implementation and operational potential it will offer Celina Insurance Group,” stated Pat Davis, SVP & GM of Data & Analytics at Majesco. “Our solutions will provide a new foundation to cost-effectively enhance risk assessments by expanding the loss control surveys to the customers with easy-to-use digital technology. We look forward to building upon our partnership and helping them innovatively navigate this new era of insurance.”
