Church Pension Group to Host a Conversation on Its Finances and Work Over the Past Year

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves The Episcopal Church, announced that it will host a virtual panel conversation with Bishop Thomas J. Brown, Chair of The Church Pension Fund Board of Trustees; Mary Kate Wold, CEO and President of CPG; and other CPG leaders, for a discussion about CPG’s vision, finances, and work.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM ET. All clergy, lay employees, volunteers, and lay leaders who serve the Church are invited to register at cpg.org/CPGconversation.

“In a time of so much uncertainty, we want to assure our Church that CPG is taking the right steps to safeguard its financial strength so we can continue to serve in all of the ways that we do,” said Ms. Wold. “I would encourage Episcopalians who have an interest in learning more to join us for this important conversation.”

The panel, which will be moderated by Patty Favreau, Chief Communications Officer, will also feature Frank Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer; Roger Sayler, Chief Investment Officer; and Ellen Taggart, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

In advance of the webinar, individuals are encouraged to view CPG’s 2021 Annual Report (www.cpg.org/annualreport2021). Through a series of videos, articles, photographs, and graphics, the Annual Report highlights CPG’s commitment to serve as a stable presence for the Church even in the most turbulent of times.
