Grange Insurance Names John North President of Commercial Lines, Cheryl McRae Lebens President of Personal Lines

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Grange Insurance Company announced that John North has been named the company’s President of Commercial Lines and Cheryl McRae Lebens has been named President of Personal Lines, both effective January 1, 2022, as Mike Winner retires at the end of the year after seven years as President of Commercial Lines.

“John has successfully led our personal lines organization for the past six years and has a proven track record for driving business results and managing change for our independent agents,” said Grange Insurance President and CEO John Ammendola. “His experience and expertise will ensure our commercial lines business continues to grow profitably into the future.”

North has more than 25 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry. Prior to joining Grange, he served as a senior vice president for Harleysville Insurance, field vice president for Fireman’s Fund Insurance’s largest region in the country, and assistant vice president for Chubb Insurance’s third largest market. He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, McRae Lebens has held various leadership roles in finance, corporate strategy, sales and marketing for Nationwide Insurance in Columbus and Safeco Insurance in Seattle. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington.
