Top 20 retained executive search firm again named to Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ON Partners, the experience-driven retained executive search firm, today announced the firm saw a three year average growth rate of 89% compared to the previous three year period, and for the eighth time, ON Partners was named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies. In addition, ON’s community of clients and placed executives awarded the firm an experience rating of 4.74 out of 5 stars, measured monthly via online survey.

In the first half of 2021, ON’s experienced consultants placed a diverse group of C-level executives and board members at a wide range of sectors and organizations, including ADT, Crocs, Lululemon, Marlin Equity Partners, ParkMobile, Sonos and Zwift. The firm showed strong growth across all areas, with especially strong demand for senior executive talent in the supply chain, private equity and consumer sectors.

To date this year, 39% of all closed ON searches were diverse placements, and 48% of all closed searches in June were diverse placements. Tapping into its community of diverse leaders and executive influencers, the firm created the “DEI in the ON Community” video series to shed light on the actions organizations are taking, where the challenges are, and how they have progressed in their DEI journey. The first videos in the series feature executives from Papa John’s and Epicor.

The firm was also named to Hunt Scanlon’s first annual roundup of the top 25 most prominent executive search firms serving the cleantech and environmental, social and governance (ESG) sectors.

The firm’s life sciences and healthcare practice saw 49% growth over the past year, and for the second year in a row, ON Partners was ranked by Hunt Scanlon in its Top 50 Healthcare and Life Sciences Search Firms. Notable placements included senior executives at Apton Biosystems, Bionano Genomics and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

In the first half of the year, ON hired 11 new consultants, more than half of whom are women. Lynda Robey joined ON as a partner in the firm’s consumer practice, which has grown 136% over the past two years. The firm also promoted several consultants to partner, including Danny Bolger, Kevin Burns, Jake Espenlaub, Joe Olson and Tindall Sewell.
