SnapNurse Launches SnapClinics to Provide Vaccinations in Areas of Need

Healthcare staffing agency to provide nurses, vaccines in pop-up clinics across the country

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SnapNurse, a disruptive, tech-enabled healthcare staffing platform, today announced the launch of SnapClinics, on-demand, pop-up vaccination clinics for healthcare deserts and underserved areas across the nation. SnapClinics are designed to help public and private organizations with immunizations and other needs, with an immediate focus on providing COVID-19 vaccinations. The clinics are staffed by contract nurses through the SnapNurse staffing platform.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, only 49.1 percent of the total U.S. population has been fully vaccinated. Mobilization of SnapClinics is increasingly important as the Delta variant becomes the dominant COVID strain throughout the country. To date, SnapClinics in Arizona, California, Georgia, Florida and Michigan have vaccinated more than one million people across all vaccination sites.

“We believe we can help educate people and provide access to COVID vaccines through our SnapClinics by meeting people where they are,” said Cherie Kloss, SnapNurse founder and CEO.

SnapNurse transformed the way nurses are recruited, deployed, and paid, filling short-term nursing vacancies in less than 48 hours, a disruptive departure from the 14-day average from traditional staffing agencies. The company fills open nurse positions in more than 1,000 partner facilities across the nation.

Established in 2017, SnapNurse’s innovative healthcare staffing solution allows its partners to self-select from more than 150,000 nurses and allied professionals for both urgent and long-term staffing needs. The platform is a one-stop-shop for healthcare facilities, as it provides digital timecards, credentials, and same-day payments for nurses. As the fastest growing business model in healthcare today, SnapNurse was uniquely positioned to offer solutions to healthcare facilities hit hard by the pandemic.

More than 100 nurses are staffing SnapClinics across the state of Michigan throughout August. For more information, visit www.snapnurse.com.
