Pamela Davis Selected for The NonProfit Times 2021 Power & Influence Top 50 List

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The NonProfit Times has named Nonprofits Insurance Alliance (NIA) CEO, President and founder Pamela Davis to its 2021 NPT Power & Influence Top 50 list of top working executives in the nonprofit sector. The publication annually celebrates 50 of the sector’s leaders for innovation, influence on the broader sector, and for developing organizational models that can be replicated. Honorees represent a broad spectrum of nonprofit organizations and are selected by the publication’s editors from a national pool of executives.

“I am honored to be recognized among an esteemed group of leaders who are driving the nonprofit sector forward in challenging times,” says Davis. “From the day we opened the doors 30 years ago, our mission has been to protect nonprofits and build long-term sustainability within the sector through a non-commercial insurance model. We live that commitment every day at NIA to support the nonprofits that are doing so much to help our communities thrive.”

This year’s Power & Influence Top 50 list appeared in the August 1, 2021 issue of The NonProfit Times.

For more than 30 years, NIA has provided specialized insurance coverages with stable pricing to 501(c)(3) organizations. NIA also supports the sector through comprehensive free and highly discounted resources to help reduce disruption to critical services that nonprofits provide to their communities. Founded in 1989 during an insurance crisis when many social service nonprofits saw cancellation and non-renewals from commercial insurers and were forced to suspend many social service programs, NIAC was the first organization under the NIA group brand and the first multi-line, nonprofit insurer offering coverages exclusively to other 501(c)(3) organizations. Today NIA has 22,000+ member-insureds and continues to prove that nonprofits are well-managed and eminently insurable, even as they continue to be disfavored by commercial insurers.
