Public Entity Specialist Joins Alliant

Phil Williams joins newly created Public Entity Education & Pooling Practice

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alliant Insurance Services has announced Phil Williams has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Alliant Public Entity. Williams will provide risk management services to public entity clients as part of Alliant’s newly created Public Entity Education & Pooling Practice. Williams has expert-level insurance know-how and will work to negotiate the needs of public entity’s education and pooling needs nationally.

Williams has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including risk management consulting, brokerage, underwriting and alternative risk pooling and captive program administration. Williams has served in leadership roles in the start-up of several public entity pools in an association group captive program. Prior to joining Alliant, he worked at Willis where he served on the leadership team for the national public entity, alternative risk and pooling practices.

Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in computer technologies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
