Banks to Present Joseph House with $16K Grant for Operational Activities

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hancock Whitney and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $16,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Joseph House, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to elderly and military veterans, as well as a second-chance program to formerly incarcerated individuals and counseling. The grant will be used to support the organization’s operational and administrative activities.

The media is encouraged to join local dignitaries and bank representatives for a check presentation at 12:15 p.m. Monday, July 19, at Joseph House, 7802 Jensen Drive, Houston, Texas.

The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions like Hancock Whitney to contribute $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization, which FHLB Dallas matches at a 3:1 ratio.
